In this project, we drew the shape of a flower on a map and positioned it as a "point of interest" (POI). These flower seeds (called "Gatekeeper" characters) were placed throughout the city and carried by people to various locations, where they would be shared to allow the flowers to open and spread. In the initial stage, glue was used to hold the poi in place, but it was broken or peeled off, so we changed to a simple method of placement and added words of love or positive messag- es. This allowed the project to expand, with many people sending messages and stories. This project combines elements of art and culture, empathy and diffusion, adding a new dimension to street art. It also aims to connect Japanese culture with street culture, spreading emotion and empathy.
